What is Home for you?

The sunbeam that wakes you up in the comfort of the sheets. A good morning kiss. The smell of the morning coffee and grandma's cake, accompanied by the smiles of the family over a long breakfast. The cozy couch on a rainy afternoon. The barefoot run through the garden and the smell of still-wet grass. A familiar view. The doorbell and the furry friends' anxiety to see who has arrived. The comforting hug after a long day at work. The joy of Friday dinners and Sunday lunches in the company of family and friends.

Home.

I can tell you from my experience that once you move around enough, you realize that home is not about one specific place. Home can be anywhere, since you experience intimacy, coziness and love.

It can be about a place, a person, a feeling.

Home is where you feel you, where you feel free from all boundaries. Where you are able to build memories as well as a way to build future wealth. Where we can truly just be ourselves, a feeling of belonging.

Home is wherever you’re surrounded by people who love you.

In the end, Home is an abstract concept and has a different meaning for everyone.
